| The widely use of halogenated organic might cause disturbance in ecosystem and threaten human being's health because of its difficulty to be decomposed owing to the stable chemical property, Traditional methods of degrading of halogenated organic can't be carried out on a large scale for they have so many disadvantages, including severe restriction on reaction condition, extortionate handing cost, complicated technological process and tendency repollution etc.This paper introduces a new method of degradation of halogenated organic——mechano -chemical de-halogenations of halogenated organic. The tests indicate that rotate speed of the ball mill, time of milling and the mol ratio of Zn to Cl are essential to the dechlorination of halogenated organic besides the leakproofness of the ball mill is an important factor as well. As a matter of fact, the longer the ball mill grinds, the higher it rotates and the mol ratio of Zn to Cl is, the more significant the effect of dechlorination will be. In contrast the accession of hydrogen and catalyzer of Ni couldn't extent apparent effect of dechlorinationand it is true of the case when Al is used as additive instead of Zn. The paper also conducts a preliminary study on the mechanism of mechano-chemical de-halogenations of halogenated organic and analyzes it theoretically. Experiments shows that the chlorine in the PVC,PVDC,HCB could be completely dechlorinated when they were grinded in the ball mill. Furthermore, Zn2OCl2.2H2O, Zn5(OH)8 Cl2.H2O,ClO2 are found through XRD,IR etc, we also found out that the production contained elementary substance of black C.Due to its simple technological process, normal reaction condition, noticeable effect and safety the mechano-chemical de-halogenations of halogenated organic will be one of the most widely used secure technology for those suburban areas in the developing countries in particular.
