Because aluminum alloy have some good characters such as great intensity, corrosion resistance, the aluminum alloy structure in the various areas of contemporary society plays an important role. In the course of processing, Aluminum alloy structure particularly welding processes will be many issues, particularly residual stress and deformation. Their existence will have influence on the structure of the geometric size, structural strength, resistance to stress corrosion (SCC) capacity impact. In order to eliminish the residual stress of aluminum alloy structure after welding, this studying used finite-element method to analyse the thermal- mechanical coupling in the process of aluminum structure heat treatment. Based on the result, this studying researched the effect that the clamp and heat resource temperature acted on heat treatment homogeneity temperature field, and the effect that different temperature fields acted on the residual stress release of the workpiece in heat treatment process. Based on experimentation, examined the related datum, technic parameter and heat treatment results of aluminum alloy workpiece heat treatment process, and dealed the results with numerical value method. This studying has direction sense to control and improve the process of aluminum alloy heat treatment. The core of this paper is to create a 3-D finite element model of the aluminum alloy structure with clamp to calculate and analyze the dynamical process of releasing residual stress. Because the thermal physical parameters of material depend on the temperature, this paper uses the most popular application program, ANSYS, to simulate the process of releasing residual stress and homogeneity temperature field. All the analysis processes are based on the heat elastoplasticity theory. The conclusions can be drawn that the clamp does little effect on the process of releasing residual stress but on the homogeneity process of temperature field, and the releasing residual stress decrease while the heat treatment temperature increase.
