Distillation range is a important index in process of oil refining. At present, on-line analyzer of distillation range normally use theory of RTP distillation that only can analyze a point or discontinuity of distillation range. ASTM D2887, the method of chromatographic simulated distillation of fraction using chromatographic technology is a standard method that can analyze distillation range of kerosene and diesel oil. Compared with the standard distillation method ASTM D86, ASTM D2887 have many advantage such as more accurate, fast, low labor intensity, few pollution and so on. And on theoretically, closer to a distillation of many towers, the result can reflect the craft state even more.But because of high temperature operation, trace sample enter and faint characteristic of signal, chromatographic simulated distillation on-line analyzer still at the starting stage abroad, and belong to the blank in China. As the chromatogram technology is being developed constantly, the demand of the market will be greater and greater, so is has become a very urgent subject to develop chromatographic simulated distillation on-line analyzer.Automation institute of Lanzhou Petrochemical company began its exploration of on-line analyzer of chromatographic simulated distillation from 2002. Firstly, we carried on the research work of the mechanism of chromatographic simulated distillation on-line analyzer. determine the on-line analysis method using chromatographic technology measuring distillation range of kerosene and diesel oil and analysis range of 60℃~420℃.Secondly, by project argumentation and lots of examinations, we confirmed operation condition and design projects of injector, packed column and detector. We solved the difficult problems such as the online automatic enter of trace sample, online regularly correction and the online designing etc. At the same time, a series of innovative on-line analyze cell such as the system of integrative on-line sample-enter, the system of chromatographic column and integrative detectors were designed. Thirdly, We realized the relevancy of the results between ASTM D2887 and GB 6536 method, and the results of two kinds of methods can be shown meanwhile on on-line analyzer.In December 2004, ZSMY-1 type chromatographic simulated distillation on-line analyzer finished the industrial experiment.
