Now the Computer-To-Plate is the hottest topic in the filed of the printing. The CTP has been extended widely in our country. With the increase of the demand, the national researching on CTP becomes necessary. This research on the imaging quality is must to the machine appearing in the market.This research first analysis the major design principles for the multi-beam thermal imaging system, then discuss the factors which may inflect the imaging quality one by one. Designs and makes the test plate before designing the researching process. Adjust the factors to the best state which have confirmed inflect the imaging quality, and then make experiments to validate the other factors. The following results were obtained through the research.1. The dense fibers arrange should be arranged accurately. It also influences the imaging quality seriously.2. The parameter of the optical imaging system impact the quality. It must be adjusted to the exact position.3. The plate also inflects the imaging quality.4. Stabilized developing is needed to get good imaging quality.5. Environment influences the quality also.6. The coupled fiber and the connection inflect the imaging quality through the selection and the installation.7. The characteristic of the laser diode and the applications impact the quality greatly. There are some factors should adjust.8. RIP is very important to the imaging.9. Operation speed is an important factor to get the good quality. Adjust the speed is one of the main adjusting point.At last this article explains the imaging quality the CTP should get.
