It was studied experimentally that the particular heredity of the high pure aluminum is prominent by the effects of different parameters of Electric Pulse Modification (EPM) on casting structure of aluminum ingots. The structure transformation of aluminum was obtained by the analysis of Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). And the different structural parameters were obtained by the high temperature X-ray diffraction. At the same time, the model about the effect of the EPM was established. It was used to validate the assumption of"inoculated clusters"by EPM in the molten aluminum.The results show that the atom clusters which were in the liquid melt steady were regarded as the genetic carrier of the pure molten aluminum. Moreover, the correlative between the hereditary attenuation law and the pulse voltage can be testified by the calculation of genetic factor and DSC technique. The analyses of the high temperature X-ray diffraction show that the ordering degree of liquid aluminum and the average numbers of atoms in cluster are remarkably strengthened by EPM. The metastable embryos with larger dimension dominate in the process of nucleation, it was regarded as the reason that nucleation ratio was increased and the solidified structure was thin. The structure of the molten aluminum is correlative with the atomic thermal motion and the effect of"inoculated clusters"by EPM in the molten aluminum. When the molten aluminum is in the overheating, the atomic thermal motion is intense relatively. Here, the atomic transition may be led to from atom clusters hypo-near or other coordination sphere to the first coordination sphere because it is in the pulse electric field.The calculations of the model show that the dimension of the clusters trends to the same size in the molten melt under the effect of EPM. The bigger atom clusters may be fissile between coupling force and cohesion in the pulseelectric field. In addition, the atom clusters may be partite with the electric field intension enhanced. Based on the electromigration theory, the clusters may be grow up because the atoms were congregated near the clusters and reorganized to obtained new big magic number atom clusters. So it is approved that the assumption of"inoculated clusters"by EPM in the molten aluminum is true.
