In the first half of 21centuries ,ethylene industry productivity will have a significant increment in China,and the oil refining industry will face a huge burden. Refinery-Chemical integration and ethylene feedstocks optimization become a key question. FCC is an important heavy-oil conversion technology in refineries. In China, the total capacity of FCC plants has reached 100 million tons per year. Dry gas from FCC plants is produced at an annual rate of 4 million tons. These gases which contain some 20percent volume of ethylene usually were burned off as refinery fuel. In this thesis the technical research progress concerning make use of the FCC dry gas and related applied circumstance of technical industries were introduced at home and abroad in recent years.The dry gas treatment system of Petrochina Lanzhou Petrochemical thowed to produce in August of 2005, is a first and unique set of industry device that useds for the recovery ethane and ethylene from dry gas in our country.The technique patent is provide by the American S& W company. To master the technique and optimize its operation, we have a necessity to simulate the absorption tower and the stripping tower by Aspen Plus .The software of Aspen Plus was invented by the American Aspen Tech company, mainly useding for imitating the calculation in chemical engineering and refining oil craft process . Contrasting with the different model that provided by the software of Aspen Plus,we confirming the KEMEA-â…¡is applicable to simulating the absorption tower and the stripping tower. According to stimulating calculation and sensitive analysis,we got to draw conclusions:1) Choosing the applicable model, the software of Aspen Plus can stimulate operation for the absorption tower and the stripping tower.2) The tower Murphee efficiency has remarkable influence on the absorption function and the stripping function . The processing ability of the device can be increased by improving the tower Murphee efficiency. The main equipments of the absorption tower and the stripping tower can work orderly in 120% of design ability.3) The absorption result didn,t change when the circulation quantity of the MEA solution decreased 11.8% and the heat duty of the stripping tower with thermosyphon reboiler reduced 6.47%.4) The ethylene,s manufacturing cost showed that the investment repay rate of...
