Water is one of the most important things which man depends on. However, water resource pollution and water shortage are threating the development of society and economy. Men begin to realize the importance of waste water treatment also. With the rapid development of brewery industry in China, the discharge and the pollution of the brewery water have attracted more and more attentionThe treatment of the opaque beer wastewater by the combined system of Anaerobic Membrane Bioreactor and Ion Exchange was studied in this article. The experiment was divided into two parts. The Anaerobic Membrane Bioreactor was studied firstly. The temperature and ascending velocity of the water and hydraulic resident time and inlet organic concentration and inlet organic load and pH were studied. The experiment was improved to that the highest removals of COD was 93.78% and the highest changeable rate of the organic nitrogen was 95.7% at on the condition that the temperature was 20~32℃and hydraulic resident time was 0.111d and organic load was 6.138kg/m3 d. The second part experiment of ion exchange was studied with static state method. The main factors of effect on performance of Ion Exchange were investigated. For as the size of the medium of exchange, pH, and the quantity of the exchange medium and so on. The removal rate of ammonia-nitrogen was high to 90.42% when the dosage of the ammonia sieve was 1.2g. and pH was 7.12 and the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen was 34.2mg/l. The regeneration experiment was studied lastly. The solution of Na2CO3 was picked as regeneration solution. When the concentration of regeneration was 1.0mol/L and the regenerative time was 3.5h, the removal rate of ammonia was 78.34% with the first time regenerated exchange medium.
