Along with the science technical booming development of modern and industrial production, a cutting technique is progressing unremittingly. The specific weight of cutting in the modern industry is more and more big, more and more important. The high quality cutting work does not get away from to the high-quality cutting equipments. The forerunner and high of a cutting craft is also more and more in the person of high-tech content and modernization of cutting equipments now.The cutting technique has a huge function in the production of industry. It can cut any black or having color metals, including various high melting point metals and the metals that other cutting methods can not cut, like stainless, heat-proof steel, iron casting, copper, aluminum and its metal alloy. It can cut various non-metal materials. When it adopts the no transferring welding arc and the work piece do not connect electricity, it can cut various non-electric materials, like fire-brick, concrete etc.The plasma arc in use for cutting and the common welding arc have very big differentiation. First, its electric arc is compressed. Secondly, the plasma arc in use for cutting is longer. Along with the thickness of the cutting work piece increasing, the arc length is also increasing. The work voltage of cutting can be up to 100~200V. The empty carrying voltage of the cutting power supply can be up to 200~300V, for the stability of arc and igniting arc easily.Along with the development of the electric power electronics and the micro-electronics, the new spare part,the forerunner control technique and the new craft are continuously releasing. The cutting technique gets the most advance by leaps and bounds of development. High speed, efficient, numeral turn and the intelligence turn are the main development direction of the modern cutting technology. They are also a realization of the modern cutting from necessary road. In recent years, the soft switch transformation technique becomes a new hotspot in the study of power supply. Soft switch technique and inverted technique combine together and can carry out a power spare part inauguration and pass break under zero electric currents or zero electric voltage condition. It lowers extremely switch exhaust, improves the moving environment of spare part and represents the trend of cutting inverted power supply development. The cutting inverted power supply have very much function, like a small physical volume, light weight, economize on energy, good control, the dynamic state respond to speed quickly and being easy to a realization to cut process of solid hour control etc. They become the development trend of cutting power supply.This text currently aims at the problems of three mutually inverted plasma cutting power supply that the machine is big and is not easily taken. According to the demand of factory house, we designed a sing-phase inverted air plasma cutting power supply and in detail analyzed its structure and principle. The design completed many research mission including main electric circuit, control electric circuit, vein breadth to make electric circuit, drive electric circuit, protect electric circuit and adjust of cutting machine etc.The main circuit is made up of rectifier, filter, full-bridge inverter which is adopted four IGBT, high-frequency transformer, output reactance. It overcame some disadvantages of the half bridge. The disadvantages have big pulsating current of capacitance, the short work life, the small power exportation of list carry, bad credibility etc. the design chose the IGBT mold piece of use the Fu Shi. Its switch frequency is 25kHz. The power supply exportation quickly responds to time, good control function and low yawp. The main transformer design adopts three texts to cure to round method structure. It chases a side separate and two sides clip betwixt of project. The design reduces missing reactance, early makes round and is advantageous to spread hot and being airiness. The vein breadth signal of controlling electric circuit makes adoption PWM the chip SG3525. The chip produces two road phase shifts as just hand over of the 180o signal. That chip has good function. The comparison machine carries on closed loop voltage and basis 5V a comparison. It adjusts the pulse width of two road signals and makes output voltage to tend to settle at the invariabeness. At last the pulse are used to trigger IGBT after they are magnified by M57962L. The safeguard circuit mainly consists of over-current, over-heat, over-voltage, low-voltage protected circuit. In addition a wire feeding system is designed, which takes PWM principle.With emergence of computer simulation, it simplifies the design process and economizes on cost of experiment. This paper makes use of Pspice's powerful function to carry on no-paper design through the whole program design. The waveforms between the actual experiment and the Pspice result are almost same.This text carries on experiment analysis in the implement and project of power supply. We give the experiment records in the process of data and relate wave form. We carry on analytical research in the process of problems and put forward solution. The experiment results show that the inverter power supply has rapid response-speed, high reliability, a strong ability of anti-jamming and good human-computer interface. The sing-phase inverted air plasma cutting power supply for design has cleverly made external appearance, easy to take, usage convenience etc.
