Diflubenzuron is a kind of pesticides can't induce mutation and aberration because of its low toxicity and low residue. At present the investigation mainly concentrate on apprasing and separation it's photolysis products. It was not reported genetic toxicity about diflubenzuron degradation product. It is said residual period of diflubenzuron is longer,so this paper apply single cell gel electrophoresis and High Performance Liquid Chromatography to study diflubenzuron. The results were as follows:(1) residual degradation dynamics and removing rate by washing: the rules that diflubenzuron residual degradation was similar on cabbage and cole. Degradation curve equations of diflubenzuron on cabbage was y=0.7526e-0.0762x,the correlation coefficients R2 was 0.9513,half-life was T0.5=0.693/0.0762=9.1days, Degradation curve equations of diflubenzuron on cole was y=0.7114e-0.0693x , the correlation coefficients R2 was 0.955,half-life was To.5=693/0.0693=10days on cole. The removing rate were both about 60% by washing vegetables.(2) DNA Damage induced by the photolysis production of diflubenzuron in mice liver:diflubenzuron itself is a kind of pesticide with no biology toxicity, but it's photolysis products, such as 4-chlorobenzene and chlorophenyl urea on vegetables might have a certain toxicity. It presented dose-effection relation between photolysis compound products and DNA Damage in certain range(0.83X10-5g/ml~2X10-5g/ml).(3) DNA Damage induced by the photolysis product of diflubenzuron in mice liver:The results investigated by single cell gel electrophoresis showed that the significant different was found of comets induced by the residual mixture of diflubenzuron in vegetables compared with the control group. It showed diflubenruzon residual productions on vegetables can induced mutation and aberration. In conclusions we should assess the safety of diflubenzuron not only form its original pesticide, but aslo it's decompose and metabolites.
