Rockburst, a dynamic phenomenon of suddenly unstable breakage of rock-mass which is induced by mining, is one of the heaviest natural disasters that affects the safety in the mineral production. The features of seismic signals depend on the property of seismic source, the property of rock mass and the distance from monitoring point to seismic source, etc. The signals are random, unstable. Signal wave shapes are different and their energies vary a lot. In the process of receiving seismic signals. It is not easy to separate the disturbing signals from seismic signals, this brings a lot of unconvenience to the post-time data processing and analysing.Based on the multi-scale analysing idea of wavelet transform, pointing at the character that the mine microseimic signals have wide frequency bands and abundant spectrum compositions. This paper presents a filtering method for signal and noise in different frequency scope, using this method, we can separate the noise from the signal and decompose the signals which have different fiequency bands in order to filter the signals. The results of experiment show that the wavelet transform method can get rid of the noise in the seismic signals and it can be applied to the pre-processing of microseimic signals effectively. Pointing at the fact that it is difficult to pick up the seismic phase in the seismic wave shape of Mu Chengjian colliery microseismic monitoring system, this paper presents a characteristic function based on wavelet transform , combining with the features of traditional function in order to realize automatic pick-up of P wave arrival. In a word, this paper applies the method of wavelet transform in processing the signal of Rockburst , achieves the satisfactory result and explores the applying field of wavelet.
