With the development of coal industry, mine exploitation undergoes the course from the shallow to the deep, and from the simpleness to the complex, deep mines gets more and more. The stability factor of deep gateway also increase, People also pay more attention to the support of deep gateways, The research of underground pressure changing rules and control measures in deep mines become important component of the field to the range of rock pressure.In this thesis, according to the theory investigation of deep mine underground pressure characteristics, the deformation rules, the destroy mechanism of gateways, the factors of the rocks around gateways and support of coal road technology, it is explained that gateways deformation amount is heavy. Digging gateways initial stage is out of shape and heavy speed, the time to be stability out of shape on coal road is long. The gateways distension is serous, the frequencies and intensity of rock burst is increasing and the characteristics of roof first pressure and cycling pressure in working face; Based on the numerical simulation, this thesis analyses the different conditions of the gateways support characteristics, draws the availability methods of deep gateway support, It puts forward that optimizing layout of gateways should be considered and the support style of gateway should be improved, which develops the combined supporting style based on anchor jack, rock bolting, anchor rope, bolting with wire mesh and so on .
