For the development of the preparation technology of high purity, productivity and mixing homogeneity nanometer composite powder and the explore of optimal properties nanometer metal composite powder as lubricating oil additive, based on the improvement of evaporation mode and powder collection, the influence of some parameters that H2/Ar, gassing pressure and electric current acted on the nanometer powder's productivity and microstructure prepared by Two-Electrode DC Arc Plasma evaporation had been researched, by using copper and nickel as the subject of orthogonal experiments. Then the nanometer copper and nickel composite powder was produced through the technical optimization laid the foundations on these obtained roles. The properties such as productivity, particle diameter, surface, mixing homogeneity of the composite powder had been systematically analyzed with the aid of some modern analysis method such as TEM, XRD and XRF. Subsequently, with the employ of oleic acid and Span-20 as surfactants, the dispersing experiments on the nano-nickel, nano-copper and nanometer copper and nickel composite powder were carried out. Optimal dispersing in alcohol solvent was obtained by the methods of adjusting ultrasonic vibration time and mass fraction of the surfactants. And put the dispersed nanometer copper and nickel composite powder into basic oil that had been added viscosity exponent additive in advance, the nanometer metal composite powder additive lubricating oil with good dispersing was made up successfully. Finally, the wear and tear experiments on the lubricating oil were performed on the four-ball friction machine. The relationship between PB, WSD, μ, and the mass fraction, WSD and the temperature, load and μ, time and μ had been studied. Some antifriction and antiwear mechanisms were discussed. The main research work and conclusions of this paper were presented as follows:(1) High productivity, purity, low cost nanometer metal powder preparation was achieved through the improvement of powder collection and the use of special heat insulation crucible. Especially, it was found through contrast...
