The carbonylation of methanol occupies very important position in the production acetic acid and derivative, a comparatively mature technique developed by Monsanto, the subject metal rhodium is an expensive metal and it is easily washed away in this technique, which made it difficult in reusing the catalyst and separating the products. Recently, the studies of vapor phase carbonylation show good foreground in solving above-mentioned problems, and has virtue of good production efficiency and low on-stream pressure as well, so it is very important to research low-cost catalysts without including rhodium and vapor phase carbonylation of methanol.Since nickel is inexpensive with superior catalytic activity, active carbon has better specific area, in this paper, a series of nickel-loaded catalysts (Ni/AC) were prepared. On the basis of systematical studies in preparatory factors, then sieved the second active component and investigated the carbonylation process. Finally, exploratory researches were carried out on some possible influencing factors in vapor phase carbonylation of methanol. The concrete content is as follows:1. Ni/AC catalyst system: Carry on the essential pretreatments to the active carbon, water-washed first and then dealt with 0.4mol/l nitric acid can increase the surface area, and improve the hole structure; Adopting the excessive impregnation method, the process is simple, Ni is distributed evenly, the utilization ratio is high; Best heat treatment temperature is 450℃, best reduce temperature is 550℃, too high temperature will possibly cause the crystalline grain of Ni to slightly grow up and pile up, cause the increase of the by-products utilizing XRD, thermogravimetry determined that the disperse threshold value of Ni/AC is round 8%(wt), in appraising reaction of vapor phase carbonylation methanol, find the fractional conversion of methanol and the yield of carbonyl product are all the highest when the loading ratio is 8%(wt). When using Ni(NO3)2·6H2O,Ni(OAc)2,NiCl2·6H2O as forebodies, the...
