With the fast development in electronic technology, more and more importance has been attached to conductive resin composite materials. The industrialized batch production of carbon fiber has promoted its wide use in the area of materials. In erosion circumstances, the composite materials produced by carbon fiber can not only substitute for metal materials in conductivity but also attain some other requirements of special applications. Therefore, studies on conductivity and mechanical sensibility of carbon fiber reinforced composite have gradually become one of the main streams in the study on resin composites.Taking the carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin composite as the research objects, this thesis, through masses of experiments, has investigated the variability of composite conductivity in different affecting factors, on the basis of which some other relative performances including Ohm characteristic, temperature sensibility, compressive sensibility and so on are also discussed. More attention has been paid to composites` temperature sensibility and the stability and affecting factors are specifically analyzed in experiments.The effect of a single variable on the composite volume resistance by maintaining other effect factors constant is analyzed respectively in the thesis. The result has revealed some facts: when the mix proportion between mepoxy and mCH3COOC2H5 equals 1/2, the viscosity of resin matrix is moderate enough for carbon fiber to get a uniform distribution; the volume resistance of composite can reach around 100 ?·cm with 2.0 percent carbon fiber; the composite volume resistance is inversely proportioned to fiber's specific value in length and diameter; the sample resistance will firstly increase and then decrease in solidifying periods and have a certain"size effect".On the basis of above experiments, the diversification of volume resistance in different voltage is analyzed and the estimation that carbon fiber reinforced epoxy resin complies with the Ohm Laws in low voltage is concluded in the thesis, which provide sufficient materials with the deduction that the composites mechanical sensibility has no relation with voltage.After a series of temperature—volume resistance experiments, it proves the fact that the Positive Temperature Coefficient and Negative Temperature Coefficient exist in carbon fiber reinforced resin composites.
