High strength low carbon bainitic steel is a kind of steels which was developed in 20 years in world. It has three characteristics: high strength, high ductility and excellent weld property. It is the outcome combing modern metallurgy with physical metallurgy research achievements. At present, a large number of research works are performed on low carbon bainitic steel all over the world. In this paper, the rules of how technological parameters influence structures and performances of high strength low carbon bainitic steel—JG700.the most important works are getting the structures converting curves under dynamic and static states by the thermodynamic simulating tester MMS-100 and analyzing and observing the microstructures under different cooling situations; by φ500 rolling mill, we researched the rules of how different rolling and cooling systems influence the structures and performances, and at last the most opmitized technological parameters are decided(including final rolling temperature, rolling system and cooling parameters). relatively by scanning electric camera XL-71 and transmission electric camera H-800 we researched structures shapes and the C/N compound separating in JG700 under rolling situations. Referring to the technological parameters under testing we established detail system of heating temperatures, controlling rolling, carried through industrial tests, and the major conclusions are as...
