The suspended sediments in water influence the water environment with two faces. On the one hand, the sediments causes the water body to be muddy, affects the water body landscape, the siltation can create the river course jamming, brings flood disaster and so on. The suspended sediments have an effect on normal vital activity of water-bodies; On the other hand, many researches indicated the suspended sediments have an effect on transformation and shapes of nitrogen, phosphorus and heavy metal migration in the water body,which have the purification effect on water quality. The suspended sediments can weakens the submarine illumination, which can be reproduced to algae's massive growths. How to balance the suspended sediments adding water environment the function dual character, launches the research on the effect of the suspended sediments on the algaes. The research inclouds outdoor investigation and the laboratory experiment . Analyze on the suspended sediments weaken the submarine illumination and adsorption of nutrient salt , the suspended sediments having an effect on the the algaes in Neijiang by weaken submarine illumination were known.The relationship of the suspended sediments and the algaes' quantity were known. The study forecast that the algaes would grow massively after the floodgate constructed in Neijiang.
