Steel billet is the last product in the steel-melting, non-metallic inclusions in steel affect on the various property of steel billet, the ability of mold flux in continuous to absob inclusion influence the steel quality directly . In this paper, I prepare many kinds of mold powder on the basic of melting temperature and basicity according to alumina inclusion. The analysis for the ability of casting powder to absorb inclusion is done by adding different content of alumina into the mold flux; the diversity of melting temperature, the viscosity and surface tension of the mold flux to the change of alumina content are studied , furthermore, the analysis for the datas are done by using Origin 7.0;the influence of the original content of alumina, the basicity, the viscosity, the surface tension and the melting temperature to the adsorption quantity of inclusion are discussed. At last, the basic model of the crystalline state after absorbing inclusions is given according to the analysis for the lithofacies analysis. The experimental results show that these five factors as follows is benefitial to the mold flux in continuous to absob inclusion: appropriate the basicity :from 1.0 to 1.2;the low of the original content of alumina; the low of the viscosity; the high surface tension;appropriate melting temperature. But,we can see from the experimental results the ability of mold flux in continuous to absob inclusion is affected by many factors. The connection between the physicochemical properties and the ability of mold flux in continuous to absob inclusion have more directive significanc in the design, crude material selection of the mold fluxes and production of mold flux.
