Self-Forming Dynamic Membrane Bio-Reactor (SFDMBR) is a new wastewater treatment method based on traditional Membrane Bio-Reactor (MBR) and Dynamic Membrane (DM) technology. Instead of micro filtration membrane, relatively large aperture membrane is used to effect solid-liquid separation by the sludge cake which is formed by the head pressure. For its solution of the high cost and the membrane fouling, the SFDMBR is with high value to research and develop.In this research, a kind of cheap and facile coarse pore-sized filtration material—200 meshes stainless steel fibers fabrication (aperture 80μm) was used. The test base was located at the wastewater treatment plant in Anting international auto town. The influx came from the primary sedimentation pool, which was the typical city sewage. Based on the feasibility study from GaoSong and YuKe, the original membrane structure had been improved and the performance of the membrane module was advanced. With the new membrane module, the research on the performance influence factors was studied and the mechanism of the dynamic membrane was discussed.Through the lab-scale experiments, the main influence factors of the performance were studied. Under the condition of MLSS=7000~8000mg/L, SVI = 80~110mL/g, the following conclusions could be drawn:1) Outflow flux: The way of starting with large flux and running with small flux could form the DM quickly and maintain it a long cycle; the steady flux could be 0.03~0.04m~3/m~2·h.2) Aeration mode: By the way of that only the inferior-side aeration was loaded at the beginning of the cycle ,then the bottom aeration was added after 20 minutes, the membrane fouling was delayed by effectively preventing the sludge granule aggregating in the sludge cake, also the outflow flux and the performance stability was obviously enhances.3) Velocity of cross-flow: The velocity of cross-flow depended on the aeration...
