Dendritic polymers, dendrimers and hyperbranched polymers, have been the subject of considerable interest due to their unique molecular structures, special chemical and physical properties, as well as their tremendous potential applications. Recently, many efforts have been made to provide functionalities to dendritic polymers to increase their usefulness.Temperature-responsive polymers which show phase transition in response to temperature changes, have attracted considerable attention due to their potential applications in drug delivery, separation process and sensors. Incorporation of temperature-sensitive character into dendritic polymers could significantly expand the scope of these molecules in applications. However, little literature has reported the preparation of dendritic polymers with temperature sensitivity. And these reported temperature-responsive dendritic polymers are synthesized by multi-step procedures. It would be significant to explore a novel route to preparation...
