The electro-magnetic-pulse treatment technology is adopted in the processing of solution and aging on Al-4%Cu alloy, and then the effect of electro-magnetic-pulse on the structure of Al-4%Cu alloy after solution and aging is studied. Meanwhile, the best heat treatment craft of Al-4%Cu alloy under the electro-magnetic-pulse field is established. The experimental results show that: aging structure of Al-4%Cu alloy can be improved by the electro-magnetic-pulse. The quantity of low melting point phases along the grain boundary or phase boundary is obviously reduced, at the same time, the quantity of strengthening phases (eutectic CuAl2) which dispersed in the matrix is obviously increased. The heat treatment craft of Al-4%Cu alloy which can be optimised by the electro-magnetic-pulse is: pulse parameter 800V, 10HZ, 90S; solution temperature 515℃, solution time 6h; aging temperature 150℃, aging time 2h.The aging structure of Al-25%Si-1.7%Mg alloy can be obviously improved by the electro-magnetic-pulse which was put in the processing of solution and aging. Shorten the aging time or reduce the aging temperature properly, the same result can be achieved compared to which was not given electro-magnetic-pulse treatment. Concrete table present: The pulse electromagnetic field causes not to make deterioration processing in the Al-25%Si-1.7%Mg alloy new born Si and the eutectic Si shape, the size and the distribution, has the certain degree change in the melting and the effectiveness for aperiod of time stage. The best heat treatment craft of Al-25%Si-1.7%Mg alloy under the electro-magnetic-pulse field is: pulse parameter 800V, 10HZ, 90S; solution temperature 540℃, solution time 4h; aging temperature 170℃, aging time 2h.
