Study On Flocculation Properties Of Bioflocculant Produced By Complex Microorganism

Bioflocculant is a important crude macromolecular flocculant. It has such advantages: no toxicity, no second pollution and bio-decompose organic pollutant with flocculating and sedimentating . But all the most popular flocculants now used including iron salt,aluminum salt and polyacrylamide flocculant have no these advantages .With the development of industry and the improvement of the people's living standard, the request of water quality after treated become more and more strict But traditional flocculants can not fulfil it. So study and exploiture of bioflocculant become more and more attention-getting .The research is about flocculating property of bioflocculant produced by complex microorganism, and searching and screening a way of debasing produce cost of bioflocculant. The result proves that the bioflocculant has a good flocculating activity to suspension of kaoline, fractional flocculation rate is 90%; fractional flocculation rate will be improved on condition of existence of seemly cations. New complex bioflocculant is not sensitive to pH of solution, fractional flocculation rate is over 92% in pH between 2 and 13. Moreover, this bioflocculant is heat-resistant well ,and can be used in rang of temperature from room temperature to 100℃. Debasing produce cost of bioflocculant is also one important content of this research. Many leftover farm produce are used as substitute of culture medium. It results that complex microorganism training in wheat hust and brown sugar culture medium have flocculating activity, and fractional flocculation rate is over 85%. These bioflocculant also have a wide pH rang and a good heat-resistant property.The result indicates that this bioflocculant is a sort of amylose by biochemistry reaction and IR. Flocculating mechanism is also discussed on the base. Flocculating mechanism of this bioflocculant is hanging together charge neutralization and adsorption bridge .
