With the industrial development of galvanization, tannage, antisepsis, and dye etc, the environment, as well as human health, has been suffering damage by metal-bearing wastewater. This situation makes it urgent to find effective ways to wipe off heavy metal ions from wastewater before it is drained. In this paper, a novel comprehensive technology is put forth, discussed and probed, which invol ves electromagnetic and magnetotactic microbic metallic carrier, including working mechanism, treating result and continuous operating conditions.In this paper, first an efficient culture condition is chosen based on the efficiency of MTB. The activated sludge are concentrated and cultivated under the process of MTB. Meantime, by the experiments of static adsorption in the electronic field for different heavy metal ions, the operations condition for dealing with different heavy metal ions are studied, which also provides the corresponding operation conditions for the following dynamic experiments.Through the study of microbe'absorption of heavy metal ions in the electronic field and non-electronic field, a conclusion can be arrived that the microbe'absorption is affected greatly by the electronic field.After that, the separation of MTBs sucked with heavy metals from the wastwater fluid is probed, respectively in separators with electronic field and non-electronic field. The separation instrument used in this paper is a separator of mesh,and the separation efficiencies by this separator are compared with those separators of wires or slabs show that the efficiency of the separator of mesh is the best in these three cases.At last, the waste water containing heavy metal ions is deal with by composite technology continuously under the optimum operation situation, the concentration of heavy metal ions in the outlet water treating with the comprehensive technology is much less than the outlet standard of waste water.
