The material property has been considered with higher demand, and accuracy of life prediction with more stringent, for material design and manufacture, in modern times. A research to forecasting of material property on mesoscale level, then to control material property in macroscale. This is an efficient path for above problems. Establishing the relationship models between microstructure factors and property for material, that can forecast microscopic failure behavior and guide design for micro-mesoscopic of material.This paper starting with research for macrotexture, considering both crystal orientation and their location in orientation space, establishing a six dimension function about location-orientation, to obtain the quantitative relation between marcotexture of crystalline material and their geometric location. Through quantitative description of microtexture, solving quantitative description of material structure weakness, establishing the relationship of between local microstructure and local "material structure weakness" character. The present work lays a basis for numerical processing of polycrystal microstructure.Orientation Distribution Function (ODF) reflects statistical distribution of crystals orientation in polycrystal in macrostructure. It breaks through limitation that the Pole-figure method, the inverse pole figure method which represent polycrystalline orientation distribution use one or two dimension graph and establish a three dimension space to describe the polycrystalline orientation distribution. Based on expansion of ODF in series of Generalized Spherical Harmonics by Bunge, we design programming in Orientation Distribution Function for polycrystal which contained five thousands crystals based on increment arithmetic of Voronoi. Geometrical data information, ODF of every crystal in polycrysal are imported to Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) to draw, that means we implement visualization of ODF for every crystal in polycrystal. The result of visualization for ODF makes ODF more visual. Calculation for ODF of cubic crystal, it is important to research and analyse types of texture and rules of distribution, and it establish the foundation for study of microtexture later.
