The valve, as the complete equipment in the industrial production device, for guaranteeing that the security normal running of the craft course plays a very important role. Send managing in the steam, soda separator , the steam pot two times and making use of steam to heat , dry, keep warm, change heat , heating, water emerging in the craft course , such as air conditioner ,etc., must be get rid of as soon as possible .The function of steam trap is get rid of steam pipeline and condensation that equipment produce constantly water, air and other can't condensation gas automatically, prevent steam escape from produce at the same time,also is it called hinder vapour to drain off water valve, it guarantee various kinds of steam equipment first energy-conserving product that device run effectively. The quality of steam trap performance have important function to the normal running of the system, the improvement of the thermal efficiency of the equipment, the abundant use of the energy,etc.This text is just to the need of above-mentioned crafts , main research the thermostatic trap base on the drive capability of the Shape Memory Alloy (SMA), the purpose is to explore SMA sensing with drives integrating and offer a kind of simpler, economy and feasible technological method , used for controlling the opening and close of the valve.On the basis of the thing that analyse SMA shape memory effect, this text has studied systemiclly the sensing and drive performance of SMA. Studies have shown , NiTi memory silk of pure Martensite and austenitic state have the performance of meeting an emergency as sensor , restraining SMA spring have strength to drive performance, SMA of certain state can realize the sense and drive automatically , NiTi shape memory alloy spring can be used as the drive component of the valve.This text has set up a model of mechanics of a kind of simple shape memory alloy spring on the basis of a model of mechanics of the past shape memory alloy, provide the design method of the shape memory alloy spring on the basis of this model, and a new-type steam trap structure of no valve stem is design according to the actual operating mode, have discuss the fact that the shape memory alloy drives characteristic of the component, has analysed that the steam trap drive receiving the strength characteristic of the component while turning on and closing , provide the completedesign drawing of this structure steam trap . Through the comparison of the steam trap with bimetallic , this type steam trap have the advantage of structure novel , volume getting little under the same working pressure and working flow, and shape memory alloy spring and medium pressure act on taper seal together, it is more reliable to seal , can solve the problem that steam trap big parameters , such as the high pressure , great displacement ,etc.
