The mechanics simulation on components of automobile aluminum alloy bodywork becoming a concernful subject. In recently years, there were some substantive research on the configuration of homogeneous materials in homeland and other countries. It's always presents some different aspect of mechanics properties between heat affect areas of the welding joints(or tie-ins) and base materials. The tie-ins distortion inhomogeneity and the parameters of other mechanics properties led affectation markedly. In this thesis, we basically aimed at researching the welding tie-ins of aluminum alloy. The details as follows:1. Use CCD photographing technique on asymmetrical welding joints drew unitary direction to track the process efficaciously. The image manipulation method is applied to research the characteristics of inhomogeneous distortion behavior of asymmetrical welding joints, and hope to obtain the possibility of revising the elastic mould of tie-ins areas.2. Use ABAQUS6.6 business software to simulate characteristics of welding joints inhomogeneous distortion behavior. The experimental and simulative results showed that before the material attaining minimum yield stress, the distortion in the regions depends only on the mechanics properties of the regions per se.3. The distortion in the antipodes of welding sheet depends on the mechanics properties of the regions appeared after welding, and further more, the regions interacted with each other. When the shrink arises, the max. of strain is smaller than the value from simulation.4. When the joint turn into shrinking, the dimension of joint affects length of MISES stress region obviously at the beginning of the shrinking stage. The length of MISES stress region aggrandized if increase the proportion between the width of sample and the width of heat-affect area. However, if increase the with of sample, the MISES stress region turned longer gradually, but the max. of stress became lower.5. The distortion stiffen index of the asymmetrical joints is smaller than the index of all area in the joints. The distortion stiffen index presented petty change if alter the unitary parameters of the asymmetrical joints region dimension. But then the distortion stiffen index changed markedly on condition that change the region stiffen index.
