In this paper, presented is a study for low carbon steel of Nb,which is always rolled by the CSP production line. I have studied some basic theory of flow stress and knew some ways how to measure it .I have learned several calculation methods of flow stress, too .I knew the status of the study about flow stress in rolling.I have collected some fruits about the subject study in the world. I have read some new opinions and learned some good ways of studying on flow stress from academic magazines and authoritative reports. I analysed some different measure ways and different mathematical models proposed by different scholars . I searched the laboratory and the experiential layout . Then I wrote a experiment programme . The experiment was operate in a analogue testing machine of mechanics and thermology。The model number is Thermecmastor-Z. We got 9 specimen. They are the same .The working condition of each sample was different from another .The strain temperature were 880℃,950℃,and 1030℃. The strain rate were 0.5/s,1/s and 5/s .I got some coherent numerical data by the experiment. Then I drew the graph of a relation about the stress and strain. I selected a mathematical model and done some regression analysis by a application software. I got the values of regression coefficients. Then I got the mathematical model of flow stress on Nb. The study is a base of getting a more accurate mathematical model of flow stressing in future. It is a base of the engineering calculation and numerical simulation about the press working of Nb.
