It is an important measure to increase the Pulverized Coal Injection to reduce the coke ratio and production cost of hot metal. During the process of increasing the PCI at Longmen Steel CO.Ltd, many problems such as decline in burning rate of pulverized coal, safe problem of bituminous coal added in anthracite and deterioration of permeability in a certain condition of burden. According to the need of high PCI rate into the blast furnace at Longmen Steel CO.Ltd, included in the study were the employment of the method of theoretical analysis and experimental research with practical production to find out the measure of increasing PCI into BF at Longmen Steel CO.Ltd.The function to raw coal, the coke metallurgy function have assumed the analysis studying as well as adding the combustion-supporting agent combustibility effect to coal in this text,. Through gathering the production plenty of dates, anglicized on the relation of coal ratio and hot air temperature, oxygen enrichment, the implementers of anthracitic and bituminous coal mixed injection. Finally as follows:Firstly, the ability, making coal powder system and PCI. is prerequisite and foundation raising coal ratio. Number seventh and eighth BF at Longmen Steel CO.Ltd is far from coal powder system, in order to implement the long-distance coal injection, it is need to set up an aerator at 100m from the distribution device.Secondly, according to the analysis about 9 kinds of metallurgical coke which provided by Longmen Steel CO.Ltd, two of them reached one-level country coke quality level at present, suggest being put into use.Thirdly, adding the combustion-supporting agent is an efficient way improving the fine coal combustion ratio. The research indicates, to Longmen Steel CO.Ltd BF, it has the best proportion 1.7%, adds to have being worth here, combustion-supporting effect will be on the contrary lessening.Forthly, the using of Hejin bituminous coal not to have explosive property at present, under the well controlling of the system oxygen thickness condition, according to each blast furnace actual station, it can be to implement the 90% bituminous coal commixture injection.Last one but not least, hot air and oxygen enrichment is the key factor to affect fine coal burns and increasing PCI, at Longmen Steel CO.Ltd blast furnace process station, stable hot air 1100℃, rich oxygen 1.8-2.5% is to choose comparatively rightly.Based on theoretical study and experimental anysis, the PCI has been increased effectively in Longmen Steel CO.Ltd through applying these research results in the iron making practice, now, Longmen Steel CO.Ltd BF PCI have been approached the design target. And great economic profits have been obtained.
