Fluorine is an element of great environmental interest and fluoride is one of the pollution control species. Combustion of coal is a potential source of fluoride in the atmosphere and environment. In this paper, fluoride removal mechanism of typical desulphurization technology in coal-fired boilers was studied systemically, the influencing factors and fluoride removal effects of the limestone-gypsum flue gas fluoride remove technology, limestone injection into the furnace, spray drying absorption and circulating fluidized bed combustion technology were analyzed from the thermodynamics and kinetics. As an important component part of the Nation Natural Science Foundation of China (NO.50476032), this paper has important significance for realizing reaction mechanism of fluoride removal technology, developing absorbent with industrial application value and solving fluoride pollution problem by burning coal.
