A pile of mine tailings and waste rocks which released by mining not only devoures a great of land, waste land and forest resources, but also brings heavy mentals and other harmful elements into environment by leaching, weathering, and oxidation, that would destroys the ecosystem, so it is the critical threat to quality of mine environment. In this paper, the waste rocks of Yaoyuanshan ore deposit in Fenghuangshan Copper Mine has been taken as main researching objects, the influencing aspects of metals release and transfer during superficial geochemical progresses by dynamical leaching experiment, as well as the metals releasing and transferring character in waste rocks have been researched . Dynamic leaching experiments are made for studying the heavy metal ion release law of waste rock under different pH values and leaching time, the results illustrate that leaching intensity increased with the decrease of pH, and the density of metal not all decreased with time elapse. According to the analyzing the acidification and alkalization effect on mineral component and construction of waste rock by using microscope and X-ray diffraction, it is concluded that a lot of carbonate minerals such as calcite would be corroded in acidification, and silicate mineral such as feldspar would be changed in alkalization; By using the seven-step extraction technique developed by Dold to analyze distribution in different modes of occurrence of the heavy metals, it is found that in the waste rocks heavy metals are mainly in silicate state, and next in juvenile sulfide; and leaching different pH solution will cause difference of elements distribution in different code of occurrence in the waste rock ,which reflects that leaching of the heavy metals in waste rocks not only influenced by pH values, leaching times , but also by waste rocks lithology, mineral compositions and modes of occurrence.
