Quinazolinone heterocyclic derivatives have been found to show fungicidal, herbicidal, pesticidal and medicinal activities, which have a bright future for application. In this thesis, we studied the synthesis of novel fused quinazolinone derivatives by utilizing aza-Wittig reaction that has the advantage of easily accessible starting materials, mild reaction conditions and good yields. The spectral properties and the reaction conditions of cyclization were also investigated. Twenty-four unreported compounds in two parts were synthesied. It may be summarized as fallows:1. Controlling molar ratio and sequence of adding reactants ,two types of substituted quinazolinone derivatives 4 and 5 (totally 13 products) were synthesized via theβ—ethylacylcarbodiimide with diamine utilizing aza-Wittig reaction. The results show that it is a good method for preparing quinazolinone derivatives under mild reaction conditions.2.Controlling molar ratio and sequence of adding reactants,two types of substituted quinazolinone derivatives 9 and 10(totally 11 products) were synthesized via theβ—ethylacylcarbodiimide with diphenol in presence of base (potassium carbonate) utilizing aza- Wittig reaction. The results show that it is a good method for preparing quinazolinone derivatives under mild reaction conditions.3. All the products were identified by IR,~1H NMR,MS, and the spectral properties of all the products were elucidated.4.Two representative products were determined by X-ray analysis of crystal structure.
