This experiment by increases the neodymium the extrusion condition magnesium alloy to take the experimental material separately, When smelting adopts passes the controlled atmosphere the method, Have conducted the research to its preparation method as well as the rare earth in the cast condition and the extrusion condition magnesium alloy function, Obtained under the different temperature magnesium alloy tensile strength, the yield strength and the break elongation ratio and discussed the rare earth neodymium to the magnesium alloy action mechanism. Meanwhile the material mechanics performance carries on the comparative analysis to under the different strain speed and the different temperature, thus for enhances the Mg-Zn-Nd alloy mechanics performance and determined its processing craft provides the theory basis.The extrusion condition magnesium alloy tensile strength, the yield strength and the elongation ratio and join the rare earth neodymium quantity along with the temperature change to concern. Regarding extrusion condition Mg the Nd alloy, along with the temperature ascension, the tensile strength drops; Normal temperature, the tensile strength reduces along with the Nd content increase. The Nd content all first reduces for the magnesium alloy yield strength along with the experimental temperature ascension elevates again, only is Nd reduces continuously in the elevation of temperature process, but Nd content for the alloy appears the exceptional case, namely the yield strength elevates first along with the temperature ascension reduces again, Nd content for the magnesium alloy is lowest in the time yield strength, Nd content for the magnesium alloy is highest in the time yield strength. The Nd content magnesium alloy elongation ratio all first elevates after the experimental temperature ascension drops, only is the Nd content alloy is different in elevation of temperature process change scope, is at the rise condition continuously.The Mg-Zn-Nd alloy is the strain speed sensitive material. Under the same temperature condition, along with strain speed enlargement, the total tendency is the Mg-Zn-Nd alloy tensile strength and the yield strength also elevates, moreover the strain speed must the influence be much bigger than to the yield strength influence to the tensile strength; But the Mg-Zn-Nd alloy elongation ratio increases along with the strain speed reduces. Along with the temperature ascension, the Mg-Zn-Nd alloy tensile strength and the yield strength reduce, the elongation ratio elevates. When the experimental temperature is high changes the strain speed must obviously be bigger than the experimental temperature is low when the situation to the alloy yield strength and the tensile strength influence.The results of microstructural observation reveal that the addition of Nd elements can effectively refine the grains in Mg-Zn alloy.
