In this thesis, the main research focused on the optimal steam explosion process of stickies removal from old corrugated container (OCC). The evaluatian indexs were the consistence of macrostickies and DCS in explosion pulp. We choosed PVAc, PVA, and OS as the simulated stickies coated in the filter paper. Then the filter paper was made pulp by steam explosion on the optimal conditions. The change of DCS's characteristics and chemical constitutes were preliminarily discussed. Simultaneously, the advanced analytic technology of SEM and FT-IR were used to analyze stickies. The results of the research were as following:1. Single-factor tests and the validate experiment were performen to achieve the optimal explosion conditions of OCC: liquor 1:4, explosion pressure 0.7MPa, heat preservation time 10min, sodium hydrate charge 2%, sodium silicate charge 1%.2. The analysis of OCC's breaking length, tearing index and burst index were found: the explosion pressure was the main influencing factor to paper physical strength. The use of NaOH and Na2SiO3 can improve the paper physical strength. The proper heat preservation was good too. But high liquor was not benefit for it.3. The SEM analysis showed that OCC's fiber and stickies were obtained well dispersed. The fiber was loose and soft. The stickies was off form fiber, and explosed into massive and particles.4. The laser particle size analyzer analysis showed that the DCS, fibers and non-colloidal particles in the stock were well detached by the centrifugal separator on the contion of 2000rpm, 20min.5. The DCS's characteristics of PVAc, PVA, OS analysis showed that conductive and CODcr correlated well with the content of DCS, excluded turbidity.6. The IR spectrum analysis showed that the intensity of absorption peak of the simulated stickies's chemical construction and functional group had been partially decomposed after explosion. This provided evidence that the molecular structures was destroyed in explosion treatment.
