Ion detection technology is a practical utility technology which is wide used inmany industrial fields, such as environment protection and medical treatment.Presently, there are some kinds of detection technology existing, most of them basedon the principle of chemical or physical reaction. For example, the InductivelyCoupled Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES) is one of the wide usedmeans in ion detection field, and it works on the principle of element characteristicspectrum detection which is excited by plasma. This method provide a sensitive, rapidand multi-element way to detect ions.In this paper, we introduce a new method of ion detection based on AES, it canbe called Liquid Electrode Plasma Atomic Emission Spectroscopy. From the previousresearches, we know the ion can be excited by high temperature plasma and emitslight. The spectroscopy of certain element's ion is unique, so the ion detection couldbe a matter of spectroscopy detection. There are many ways to produce plasma, theway presented in this paper will be more simple. In this research, we will focus on the plasma production and related technology. We will study the condition of the plasma production, the different influence on iondetection between single liquid electrode and double liquid electrode, how the ionsenter the plasma, and so on. Based on the above researches, we will also study therelationship between liquid consistency and spectroscopy intensity. Liquid electrodeplasma is valued in the last 5 years in scientific world and no one carry out theresearch in china, so the result of this research will help human to develop andunderstand the theory of the liquid electrode plasma. After carefully analyzed theexperiment result, we thought we have achieved expected result. And if we improvethe experiment equipment, this method will be a practical one.
