In the numerical control process, the machine tool under the control of system has achieved automation in the process of slice. But, we still mainly process with the non-automated way to carry on the installment localization of the components (work piece), to guarantee the correct position when processing the work piece in the engine bed regarding the cutting tool path .This non-automated operating mode inevitably will be able to make the processing the non-cutting time long, the clamps the efficiency to be low, the attire clamps the precision person's skill and the condition quality influence. Thus the existing operating mode is entirely incompatible with the high accuracy, the high efficiency, high flexible, the high automated characteristic of numerical control processing.The present paper proposed surveys and the recognition work piece on engine bed accurate position technology and the system based on the computer vision, then can use this technology and the system realize the new operation pattern of "clamping -part locating - processing" in the numerical control processing. And it can solve in the present numerical control processing to exist, use the jig long to install production time to prepare which the work piece brings, the increased cost, the flexible low problem, which the precision is not easy to guarantee, as well as installment localization process automation.The present paper completes the main following content:Use two cameras binocular vision hardware systems based on the PC machine control, completes from the different spatial spot obtains the identical object the picture to be right. Then program with VC++, transforms the picture gathering colored picture into the gradation picture, and carries on two values processing to the picture, the image threshold value division, edge examination processing.In order to increase the work piece position precision which finally obtains based on the digital image work piece target homing position system, this article carries on the analysis to in the work piece imagery processing origin, and aims at the erroneous reason to adopt corresponding rectifies or the reduced error measure. Carrying on the standardization of the camera .The paper demarcates about the camera with the check template achievement separately to carry on demarcates, obtains the camera inside and outside parameter. Its goal is to establish the object between the three dimensional world coordinate system and the picture coordinate system relations and finally obtains the high work piece to seek the position precision. The paper completes the three dimensional reconstruction of the characteristic point and provides the produced transformation matrix of the work piece coordinate system to the engine bed coordinate system according to the spatial three dimensional coordinates computation of mathematical model after the camera standardization. All this work is advantageous for following carries on the work piece the automatic pint pointing and the numerical control processing.
