The influence of heavy metal and Boron on the invertase, urease and catalase of soil Boron tailing pond in Dandong Kuandian of Liaoning province were investigated. The contents of Cu, Zn, Pb, Cd, B and the activity of the three kinds of enzymes in soil were measured, and the effect of compounded pollution of heavy metal and Boron on soil enzymatic activity of tailing pond were discussed. It will supply the foundation for the assessment of environmental biology of contaminated soil in the ore district. The result indicated that the soil environment of Kuandian Boron ore district had been contaminated by Cu, Zn, Pb and Cd, the nearer the distance from the Boron tailing pond ,the more serious the pollution would be ,and the soil acidification was induced in a certain degree. The pollution of heavy metal and Boron inhabited the activities of soil enzyme, the nearer the distance from the Boron tailing pond ,the lower the activities were, the activities of invertase and urease changed a lot while the activities of catalase changed slightly. The soil of Kuandian Boron tailing pond had been contaminated by Boron, the farther from the Boron ore district ,the lower the content of Boron would be .
