With the development of nano-technology, recently it is found that the magnetic nanowire array system can be used as a high-density record media, which is called quantum disk. The density will approach to 400Gb/in2, and it will make a good candidate to improve the areal density.In our work .In our workα-Fe2O3 , Fe, Co, Ni nanowire arrays fabricated by an DC electro-plating procedure. The microstructures, micros were investigated by Scanning Electron Microscope, X-ray diffraction,. vibrating sample magnetometer, The main contents are as follows:1. We get bidirectional AAO template of 40V, we validate the growth mechanism ofα-Fe2O3 nanowires on Fe film. The growth occurs by diffusion of iron atoms or ions from the base to the tip of the nanowire where they react with oxygen .2. Fe, Co, Ni nanowire arrays were successfully fabricated by an DC electro-plating procedure. The nanowires prepared by this method are structurally uniform and magnetic anisotropy.
