21st century is a new era for composites. Composites can greatly improve the mechanical properties, physical and chemical performances of single regular materials. In addition, the use of composites can resolve some problems in engineering structure which can't be resolved with conventional materials. Therefore, composites are indispensable in many fields.As a important branch of material science, fiber reinforced composites gain rapid development with its excellent performances. It has been applied in such areas as aerospace, transportation, chemical industry, building materials, sports and public health. The use of high performance fibers and resins bring more vitality to the development of fiber reinforced composites.In this thesis, A new kind of fiber reinforced composites which develop rapidly and gain wide range of application in recent years is introduced—Multiaxial Warp-knitted Reinforced Composite (MWK).Such mechanical properties as multiaxial tensile, tearing and bursting properties of the composites are studied systematically.Firstly, the multiracial tensile properties were studied. The real situation in the process of its use was simulated. The composites were drawn from four axis and eight directions. The different damage styles and characteristics were analyzed afterwards. In this experiment, two different kinds of knitted cloth and coating resins with two different coating depths were selected.After coating, the spaces among the fibers were filled with coating resins. As a result, friction and concretion of yarns were enhanced, thus slippage of yarns was reduced and tensile properties were improved.Secondly, the tearing properties were studied. The tearing properties were analyzed by using trapezoid.Finally, research was performed on the bursting properties of the composites. Two kinds of knitting clothes, resins with different coating depth were chosen. In the Orthogonal test, the influence of three factors on the bursting properties of composites was analyzed. Through the one factor experiment, the influences of different kinds of knitted cloth, coating depth on the mechanical properties were studied.However, there are still some shortcomings that should be solved in the future. At the end of this thesis, some suggestions are given for the future research.
