To enhance the production efficiency of hydrogen peroxide in Electron-Fenton,multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT) electrodes were prepared. Compared with GDC (gasdiffusion cathode) electrodes, the results showed that the MWNT electrode had higherhydrogen peroxide production efficiency. We also prepared the Fe-modified MWNT(Fe-MWNT) electrode by electrodeposition method, the results indicated that Fe-MWNTelectrode got higher hydrogen peroxide production efficiency, and the average currentefficiency was increased by 8ï¼…after Fe modification. The average current efficiency ofMWNT electrode was close to that of GDC electrode(60ï¼…). We found indigo could modifiedelectrodes after electrodes used in indigo degradation. The In-MWNT got higher hydrogenperoxide production efficiency than MWNT, and the average current efficiency could increasto 80ï¼…. Operational parameters such as cathode surface area, cathodic potential, inertsupporting electrolyte concentration and oxygen purity were the key to the productionefficiency of hydrogen peroxide in Electron-Fenton, and other operational parameters such askinds of inert supporting electrolyte, pH, oxygen flow rate, reaction time and temperaturewere less important. Fe3+ could redution to Fe2+ at cathode in Electro-Fenton system, so Fe2+had better catalysis to hydrogen peroxide than Fe2+ in Fenton system, also had durativecatalysis in reactions.
