Based on the inspection of relevant literature, analysis of the basic oil structure and properties of commercialized refrigerant lubricants which match HFC-134a (1,1,1,2-tetrafluoro-ethane) , a high-performance basic oil of refrigerant lubricant matching HFC-134a were synthesized. by using diglycol as main material, The synthetical technology were systematically studied, including the choice of catalyst, dehydrate reagent and fatty acid, the dosage of catalyst, dehydrate reagent, ratio of raw material and feeding method. Based on orthogonal experiment, the optimal synthesis condition was confirmed. The performance test method was also established according to the evaluation criteria of refrigerant lubricant. The structure and the performance of the synthesized product was characterized and tested.By using p-toluene sulfonic acids as catalyst and toluene as dehydrate reagent, the optimum reaction condition of synthesized bisester basic oil of refrigerant lubricant matching HFC-134a from diglycol and isooctanoic acid is: n(isooctanoic acid): n(diglycol)is 2.2:1, reactions time 100min, dehydrate reagent equal to 22% of total mass, catalyst is equal to 2.0% of total mass.Under optimum reaction condition, a series of bisester basic oil matching HFC-134a from isooctanoic acid, iso-nonanoic acid and neo-decanoic acid were synthesized, and the structure of the product were characterized by means of FT-IR. The performance test showed that the viscidity was between 13.5 and 16.5 mm~2/s with 40℃, and the pour point of the product was below -46℃.Synthesized duplicate-ester basic oil of refrigerant lubricant matching HFC-134a from diglycol, isooctanoic acid and adipinic acid by using p-toluene sulfonic acids as catalyst and toluene as dehydrate reagent with continuously feeding method, based on orthogonal experiment studying, the optimum reaction condition of synthesize basic oil of refrigerant lubricant matching HFC-134a is: n(diglycol):n(adipinic acid):n(isooctanoic acid) is 0.2:0.0898:0.225, dehydrate reagent is equal to 20% of total mass, catalyst is equal to 2.0% of total mass. The product was characterized by means of FT-IR, the performance test has shown that the viscidity is between 28.8 and 35.2mm~2/s with 40℃, and the pour point was below -45℃.The performance test result of the four synthesized products show that the products can accord with GB/T16630-1996.
