Not only the continual development of ecnomic but also health and survival ofhuman being have serious effected by environment pollution, expecilaiiy the waterresource. But the artificial lake-ponds are smaller than natural lake and river, pepollestudy them fewly. As the number of artificial lake-ponds are more and more, andthem have ralation with people, so the studing is important to pepolle. The paper chooses the artificial lake-ponds as the research object in theCheng-du economic zone (LongWang lake-pool in Zhongjiang). Firstly the sampleof water and sediment are gathered, secondly content of heavy metals isanalyzed, thirdly the distribution state of heavy metal (Pb, Zn, Cu, Cd, Hg, As) arestudied, and then the situation of heavy metals pollution in the water and the columnsediments are evaluated. Base on the above working the transportation andconversion model of heavy metals. The heavy metals in the water have no certain correlation, and the heavy metalsin sediments have better correlation. This paper evaluates water quality by using the single pollution index andsynthetic index. The result shows that Cr6+, Hg polluted it moer seriously. Themethods of index of geoaccumulation and index of potential ecological risk are usedto assess the degree of heavy metals in sediments. And the two kinds of methods arecompared. The result shows that Hg and Cd polluted it moer seriously.Base on the synthesis analysis above, the paper district the transportation andconversion mode of heavy metal of water and sediment in the artificial lake-pool, and analysis that the heavy metals releasing from the sediment of has influence onthe water.According to researching the pollution source of heavy metal-elements, thispaper puts forward control policies and prevention measures for heavy metalpollution of the artificial lake-pounds, and offers scientific evidences for correlateddepartments preventing lake-ponds ecosystem from heavy metal polluting.
