Application study on wastewater treatment with Advanced Oxidation Process (AOPs) is an important direct of environmental sciences research and is also a new field of wastewater treatment in recent 20 years .It can oxidize contamination in wastewater to be mineral or transform into substance that can be treatment with biology method through chemical or physical chemistry method.In this paper,simulation wastewater of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid treatment with some AOPs method is studied systematically.The major contents and conclusions of this study include the following parts:1 Research on Degradation of 4-Toluene Sulfonic Acid by PhotocatalysisPhotocatalytic degradation of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid in aqueous solution by TiO2/UV system was focused in this study. The effects of quantity of TiO2, concentration of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid,time and intensity of UV radiation, pH value of solution, and familiar inorganic ions had been investigated. The results showed that the optimal quantity of TiO2 was 0.10g·L-1 in 0.030 g·L-1 4-Toluene sulfonic acid solution with the air pressure of 5.2 kPa, and the degradation efficiency of the 4-Toluene sulfonic acid was 67.4 % with UV radiation of 2h and solution pH of 7. The quantity of TiO2 and the solution pH were main factors for degradation of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid by nano-TiO2. Based on this, the influences of some inorganic positive and negative ions on the reaction were also studied, and the result was satisfying.2 Research on Degradation of 4-Toluene Sulfonic Acid by Sono- photocatalytic oxidation Sonophotocatalytic oxidation of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid in aqueous solution was focused in this study. The effects of initial concentration of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid,initial pH value of solution,the power and frequency of ultrasonic, cavitate gas and add H2O2 to aqueous solution have been investigated. The results showed that the optimal power and frequency was 120W and 40kHz in 0.030 g·L-1 4-Toluene sulfonic acid solution,and the degradation efficiency of the 4-Toluene sulfonic acid was 99.95 % with UV/US method of 1.5h and solution pH of 3.On the base, The effects of the quantity of H2O2,The results showed that when the quantity of H2O2 is 0.8mmol/l,the degradation efficiency is the most distinct.We also find that the UV/US method had excellent cooperation. the degradation efficiency of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid raise 2.17 times,in 1.5 hours ,it can be disposed 99.95 %,achieved to the aim.3 Research on Degradation of 4-Toluene Sulfonic Acid by combination of photocatalytic and ozoneIn this study,we used the method of O3/UV degrade the aqueous solution of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid. The results showed the combination of photocatalytic and ozone can yield more·OH,which can degrade the aqueous solution more better and the time of reaction decrease. On the base ,the effect of pH and the flux of oxygen had been investigated.we found that when the pH was 12 and the flux of oxygen was 0.5 L/min,the concentration degradation efficiency of the 4-Toluene sulfonic acid can reach to 95%, and the COD degradation efficiency of the 4-Toluene sulfonic acid can reach to 92.5%.in addition,we also discuss the mechanism of the O3/UV.The mechanism of 4-Toluene sulfonic acid-containing degradation and intermediate product are profound discussed using ultraviolet and infrared spectrum.
