Design Of High-Medium Consistency Pulp Pump And Fluidization Equipment

In the paper making industry, low consistency pulp is used generally in pulp process, so all the high-medium consistency pulp must be diluted, and then be evaporated to other procedure. This "dilutiontransportation—evaporation" process enormously increase the investment cost and waste large amount of water resource and energy. The improvements in the technology of transporting high-medium consistency pulp can greatly lighten above problems. And among them, the high-medium consistency pulp pump is the key equipment, which need further development.Base on the characteristic of high-medium consistency pulp, the design of high-medium consistency pulp pump was presented. Meanwhile, the fluidization equipment was designed and validated. The main work of this dissertation is outlined as following:1. The liquid characteristics of fiber suspension and the hydrokinetics characteristics of high-medium consistency pulp were studied, and then ensure the critical fluidization condition of high-medium consistency pulp, which offer theory support for the fluidization of high-medium consistency pulp.2. Base on the flowing characteristics of paper pulp and the request of transportation, and on the base of present paper pulp pump production, the detailed structure design style of the transporting pump, fluidization equipment and air separating equipment were all given.3. The design principle and structure of fluidization equipment were introduced; and the critical rotary speed and shear torque were calculated according to the fluidization design parameters, so the structure dimension of fluidization equipment can be obtained.4. Through calculating the torque, critical turbulence shear stress, apparent viscidity of suspension, intensity, energy dissipation, the rationality of structure design of the fluidization equipment was validated.
