Research And Development Of Low Polymerization Degree PVC Resin

The low polymerization degree(700) PVC resin used as a pipe resin was prepared based on the suspension PVC resin polymerization. The effect of the initiator, mercpatoethanol, dispersants, heat termination antiseptic on polymerization and PVC properties were studied in 10L polymerizer, 300L polymerizer ,7M~3 polymerizer, 33M3 polymerizer respectively. The PVC resin showed the stable molecular weight, the higher density, moderate plasticizer absorption rate, short plastination time, and better thermal stability. The products could be used as the special PVC pipe resin.
