In the cement industry, the primary concern is quality control. Controlling the reasonable and stable crude material ingredient is the main essential link during the cement production, which has the vital significance to produce the high grade cement. The earlier the cement industry can institute quality control upon their product, the more significant their savings in labor, energy and material. Until now, the people still used conventional chemistry sampling analysis method to obtain these 3 rate values: Lime saturation coefficient KH, silicic acid rate n and the iron rate p. But the chemical analysis method speed is slow, cannot promptly instruct the production. However, the nuclear technology method can provide a new method to realize the cement analysis at the right moment because of its radiation penetrability. The neutron induced instantaneous gamma beam analytic method (NIPGA) may fast carry on the cement crude material analysis. It can produce [ n, Gamma ] response With 2.5MeV neutron irradiation to cement sample, and produce the instantaneous gamma beta spectrum through the element Si, Al, Fe, and Ca, which may obtain each kind of oxide compound content in the cement by calculation, thus calculates the cement lime saturation coefficient KH, silicic acid rate n, iron rate p.
