Electrochemical analysis has the advantage of quickness, convenience and sensitivity. And there is most important on direct potentiometric technique that is excellent Ion-selective electrode. Quinolone antibiotics is the new generation broad-spectrum antibitics developed quickly and is widely used for clinic in recent year. It has the characteristic of broad-spectrum antibitics, simple structure, small side-effect and cross-resistance with other antibitics drugs.The technology of medical analysis and inspection takes an important role in medical investigation, so studied and founded the sensitive and quick analysis method is important for the new drugs exploitation, pharmacological studying and the clinic application. So the more and more analytical methods reported for fluoroquinolones include non-aqueous titration, high performance liquid chromatogram (HPLC), UV spectrophotometry (UV), visible spectrophotometry , and so on. Ion-selective electrode has become a very important technique for pharmaceutical analysis because of its high speed and small sample volume requirements. This thesis explored producing an new ion-selective electrode and established an new electrochemical analysis method on fleroxacin or lomefloxacin.Today, fluoroquinolones ion-selective electrodes have been reported. So we principally attempted to produce carbon paste electrode and PVC wire-coated membrane electrode of fleroxacin or lomefloxacin by Bi(NO3)3, Hg2I2. We study on the effects of useful life, response time, linear range for selecting electrode. Experiment proofed that this method has been successfully applied to determination of fleroxacin or lomefloxacin in the some kinds of pharmaceutical preparations. And the method has the advantage of quickness, convenience, endurance and sensitivity. So the method could been applied usually in pharmaceutical analysis and it was probably that these kinds of electrode could been produced electrochemical detector in HPLC and capillary electrophoresis (CE).
