At present, oil wells in the interim or later oil production period are generally controlled to start up and stop intermittently for oil extraction, and usually, time of pumping unit's intermissive working is constituted manually and the pumping unit will be started and stopped by technicians according to production data, which belongs to the system of off-line monitoring .This mode is difficult to match with actual situations, in order to improve this system ,an energy-saving equipment has been designed .On the one hand , it can diagnose the faults of pumping unit and optimize the parameters of oil-drawing, on the other hand ,it can formulate reasonable intermittent pumping system dynamically .In this dissertation ,a deep exploration of the theory of production about Intermissive Pumping Unit was taken ,by using of oil well production data, the function about a seepage flow and time of pumping was established. Based on the law that the changes of indicator diagram reflect the changes of pumping efficiency and productivity, integrated with energy-saving production techniques, the standard of pump-stopping was set up.In this dissertation, partial optimization algorithm is adopted, by comparing the area of pumping indicator diagram with the area of theoretical indicator diagram, feedback information was obtained, which will adjust the length of downtime and the length of time-running for reference.Finally, in order to get historical data and know about the running situation of pumping unit , the software of saving-energy and monitoring for Pumping unit has been developed.The control program has been tested on two oil wells in Xinjiang Zhundong oil-field for a period of time, which produced good results, achieved better economic results. However, when it comes to fine production, more knowledge of production about Intermissive Pumping Unit needed, the math algorithm in the dissertation needed to be further optimized.
