In this paper, a magnetically pump-ebulliometer was used for measuring theisobaric vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data. The pressure, undulating within 10Pa,was steadily controlled by a set of automation. The equilibrium temperature wasmeasured by a calibrated thermometer with an accuracy of 0.1℃.At 101.325kPa, the boiling points of two binary systems: dimethyldichlorosilane-dimethyldimethoxysilane and dimethyldimethoxysilane-methanol were determinedin the different liquid phase compositions with this apparatus. With the Q function ofmolar excess Gibbs energy, the vapor phase compositions of the two binary systemswere calculated from Tpx by the indirect method, then the VLE data of the two binarysystems were respectively correlated with Margules, van Laar, Wilson and NRTLequations, which acquire the optimum model parameters of liquid activity coefficient.2 pairs of group interaction parameters have been estimated by means ofNelder-Mead method. Predictions for the vapor-liquid equilibrium of 20 binarysystems, 9 ternary systems and 2 quaternary systems are performed by means ofUNIFAC model. For 20 binary systems, the mean deviations of the calculation ofbubble-temperature and vapor composition are 0.794% and 2.495%. And the meandeviations of bubble-temperature of 9 ternary and 2 quaternary systems are 2.064%and 4.935%, respectively. Satisfactory accuracy is obtained in calculating thebubble-point temperature and the vapor composition of the phases in equilibrium. In order to obtain the theoretic informations about vapor-liquid equilibria, wechoose six ternanry systems to calculate the seperation factors and discuss theinfluence factors.
