Sludge composting used in land is one of effective ways to deal with sludge in China at present. This way fits our country well. Accordingly, to study on swage sludge composting and solve problems of composted swage sludge in land-use is very significant.Based on some problems of sludge composting with high moisture content, such as high prophase disposal expense, low fertilizer efficiency and heavy metal, composting process with super absorbent polymer (sodium polyacrylate) can carry out the process, predigest composting process, reduce heavy metal pollution and the cost, and speed the application of sludge composting products.Systems analysis of sodium polyacrylate's infection on sludge composting, and its function mechanism were discusses. Experiment result indicates: sodium polyacrylate has good character of water absorption, water saving and heavy metal absorption. It can reduce interstitial water of sludge evidently, increase void fraction, and improve sludge structure and oxygen condition. These characters achieve direct composting of high moisture content sludge. In addition, sodium polyaerylate's affection on fertilizer efficiency and heavy metal's configuration was also discussed.For the basic instance of swage sludge in Fuzhou, elementary sludge disposal system and rudiment of composting process with sodium polyacrylate were designed in the paper. In addition, application's foreground of engineering and land-use were also analyzed.
