With industry development, mechanical failure occurred accident frequently inthe process of industrial production, which is not only the risk of security to thehuman being but also the result of uncountable expanse due to stop production as wellas shutdown. Based upon the fracture analysis, course of failure accidents in largeenterprise of chemical industry are discussed in this paper, and improving methods arerecommended.In this paper, microscope and electron microscope as well as chemicalcomposition analysis are applied for fractures failure analysis of R22 reactor, part ofboiler etc. The results of analysis show that failure ways of all analyzed parts werein stress corrosion. Stress of welding companied with the corrosive environment leadthe parts to earlier failure. Based on analyzed results, the condition and failure systemof stress corrosion to stainless steel and low alloy steel were discussed in further. Themain methods to anti stress corrosion are to use applicable material, to reduce stressremained and to improve the medium environments.The microstructures and process of heat treatment are analyzed for the fracturesof alumina module, broken case of axial, screwy MT line of bar of piston in this paper.The results of research indicated that early failure of such kinds of mechanicalproducts are occurred by incorrect heat treatment process and leaded by defects ofheat treatment. Selection of material properly and reasonable hot processing rulesshould make us to avoid appearing of this sort of imperfection.
