This paper studied the cell density, spcecific growth rate and Chla contents of Senedesmusobliquus, Chlorella ellipsoidea, Tetraselmis tetrathele, Platymonas subcordiformis under theCopper nanoparticle, Copper powder, Iron nanoparticle, Iron powder reduced.The result shows that different size of Copper particles retrain the growth of themicroalgae differently, the more the Copper particles putted in, the less the cell density and Chlacontents of the microalgae are. The endurance of Chlorella ellipsoidea is the weakest, most ofChlorella ellipsoidea under the amount of 1.3mg·L-1 Copper nanoparticle can not grow up,next is Senedesmus obliquus,then Tetraselmis tetrathele is next, the amount of 2.0mg·L-1 Coppernanoparticle can retrain them completely, and the endurance Platymonas subcordiformis is thestrongest, they can grow slowly under the amount of 2.0mg·L-1 Copper nanoparticle. Thetoxicity of different size of Copper powder are different, for the freshwater algae, the toxicity ofCopper nanoparticle is largely stronger than the same amount of Copper powder, Senedesmusobliquus under the amount of 33.3mg·L-1 and 333.3mg·L-1 Copper powder or Chlorellaellipsoidea under the amount of 83.3mg·L-1 Copper powder can grow slowly, but theSenedesmus obliquus under the amount of 3.3mg·L-1 Copper nanoparticle or Chlorellaellipsoidea under the amount of 8.3mg·L-1 Copper nanoparticle and 833.3mg·L-1 Copper powdernearly stop growing. For the marine microalgae, the the toxicity of Copper powder or the Coppernanoparticle are both quite strong, Tetraselmis tetrathele under the amount of 3.3mg·L-1Copper nanoparticle and 16.7mg·L-1 Copper powder or Platymonas subcordiformis under theamount of 16.7mg·L-1 Copper powder nearly stop growing,and the cell density and spcecificgrowth of Platymonas subcordiformis under the amount of 2.0 mg·L-1 Copper nanoparticle or16.7mg·L-1 Copper powde are quite lower than that of the Platymonas subcordiformis withoutCopper particles. The more the Copper powder putted in, the less the cell density and Spcecificgrowth rate of the microalgae are.Iron nanoparticle and Iron nanoparticle have little effects on the microalgae, the cell densityand Chla contents under different size of Iron particles are similar to the microalgae without Ironparticles.Investigation into effect of different sizes of Iron particles and Copper particles on themicroalgae, not only provides theory suggestion for safety criterion about the comingnanomaterial industry, but also play an important part in dealing with the metal pollution withmicroalgae.
